Services provided by the the Slovak Honorary Consulate in Haifa to citizens of
the Slovak Republic
Services are rendered in Hebrew and in English. Assistance in the Slovak
language can be arranged according to circumstances.

Assisting Slovak citizens in distress in finding entities and
addresses that can provide solutions or help

Mediating between Slovak citizens and Israeli official entities
or institutions, mainly in times of distress - with law or law enforcement
bodies, with health institutions, and the like, including visiting Slovak
citizens who are hospitalized or kept in custody

Assisting Slovak citizens in transferring information to, or
from, their relatives

Authenticating documents, certificates, copies, and the like,
in Hebrew or in English, and validating authenticity of signatures

Directing Slovak citizens to providers of certain relevant
services, like legal services, translations, and the like
Legal regulations in
force in the Slovak Republic allow appropriate administrative charges to be
imposed for specific consular services.

Services provided by the Honorary Consulate in Haifa to the general public

Assisting as much as requested and possible, in reinforcing
contacts between the Slovak Republic and the State of Israel. Such contacts
include commercial and economical contacts, and cultural, scientific and
sport contacts. Actually this is the main activity of the Honorary Consul,
Mr. Mandel
-
This activity is implemented at two levels: at the public
level, Mr. Mandel is engaged in “building bridges of cooperation” between
the relevant communities in the two countries. The main attention is given
to presenting the Slovak Republic, its characteristics, capabilities, its
markets, and its potential - to the community in Israel. In parallel, as
much as possible - Israel is presented to the Slovak community. The other
level is the commercial - private one. On this level Mr. Mandel is active
within the framework of his company Colleagia Trusts Ltd.

Mr. Mandel’s activity at the public level is executed, inter
alia, within the framework of the Israel Slovakia Chamber of Commerce, in
which he holds the position of Board Member and Editor of the website.
